SYNOPSIS

The second Par 3 on the course and ranked the 2nd easiest Hole. Like the 4th the hole runs in an Easterly direction and is set into the side of the hillslope. From the tee the view of the Green is deceptive, but the putting surface is one of the largest, albeit precariously positioned. The Green is again overlooked by a steep bank on the right, with a steep embankment on the left containing three well sized steep faced pot bunkers.

DANGER POINTS

Miss the Green on the far left at your peril!!. Out of bounds on extreme right of the Hole at the top of the bank, and also at the extreme back of the Green. Watch out for the Tee-shots from the 9th Mens/Medal Tee on the left below the Green.

OTHER FEATURES

Little else can be said about this hole, except that it can often belie its Stoke Index rating of 17.
