SYNOPSIS

The first Par 3, and rated the easiest Hole on the Course purely because it is the shortest. From the elevated Medal Tee the Green is some 15/20ft below, and partially obscured by the hillslope. However, from the Mens/Ladies Tee 30 yards to the left the putting surface is only slightly below, although it is still hidden by a large Greenside bunker guarding the front portion. The circular Green is a generous size and flat, and afforded protection by 3 strategically placed bunkers, along with a steep bank to the rear.

DANGER POINTS

Densely wooded copse immediately to the rear of the Green. Wooden fence and row of bushes on the extreme left-hand side separating the hole from the 1st. Severe rough to the extreme right of the Green beyond bunker.

OTHER FEATURES

The Hole faces North Easterly, and is another with a separate Medal Tee - as described this Tee is elevated and exposed to the elements, thus making correct club selection crucial.
