SYNOPSISA solid Dog-Leg right Par 4 running East to West from a Tee set down in a bottle-neck of trees up to a Green overlooked by the Clubhouse. The fairway undulates notably through out its course, and has a discernible incline from Tee to Green. It is also relatively narrow in the first instance, only widening out after the corner of the Dog-Leg has been reached. The Green is moderately sized, and is built up to provide a crowned putting surface, although there is a distinct downward slope evident from the middle to the front. Protection comes in the form of a pot bunker front left and a minor sand trap on the right, together with a sharp embankment to the rear left.DANGER POINTSDense woodland on the left and right of the fairway from the Tee to the corner of the Dog-Leg. Trees and bushes, coupled with heavy rough, past the Dog-Leg on the extreme left. There is also a large Water Tank situated 50 yards short of the Green, and beyond the fence is Out of Bounds. Bushes and heavy rough on the right leading up to the Green separating the Hole from the 17th. Out of Bounds at the back of the Green by the Clubhouse.OTHER FEATURESAn accomplished finishing hole that puts a great deal on emphasis on the accuracy of the Tee-shot, but also keeps the mind focused right until the ball is holed out. |
