Portsmouth Golf ClubThe club was formed in 1926 and since 1972 has played over the Portsmouth City Council course on Portsdown Hill overlooking Portsmouth, Southsea and Langstone Harbour. The club is a private members club with over 500 members comprising men, ladies, juniors and male veterans and is fully affiliated via the Hampshire County Union to the English Golf Union and the English Ladies Golf Association. We have an extensive competition calendar in all categories and welcome new members of all categories and all standards. The course is now leased from Portsmouth City Council by Glendale Golf who offer a very flexible system of season tickets and green fees - see Prices for details.
